Math Games for Kids:
There are many sites out there that adverstise to help your child with their math skills in a fun manner, such as games and activites. However, not all these sites are worthwhile, nor do they teach (or use) good mathematic strageties. Hopefully, this blog will be a resource for you to help your children outside the classroom, at any skill level. That said, let's get started!

This site is founded by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. While the resources on this page are more math-centered and not necessarily games, they are still excellent to use outside the classroom in working with your child. The website presents the child with a "problem" and help provide hints to facilitate the problem solving process. The content is great on this website, although the graphics are not amazing. We could use this in our classroom as an exploration where students would work together to solve the real-world problem, but these also work outside the classroom. That said, happy solving!
