A Guide to Posts!
A little explanation:
To make these posts a little more clear, I have tried to label them to help readers better understand!
For the Big Kids!: These posts refer to resources that teachers and parents/guardians (you're teachers too!) can use to enhance learning outside the classroom.
For the Little Kids!: These posts refer to activities, games, multimedia and other resources for kids to help facilitate learning.
Enjoy!
For the Little Kids!: Zeros
Zeros
This is a music video by a band called They Might Be Giants. This band has several very cute videos about different numbers, letters, science and all kinds of subject. They are fun and catchy and kids love them! This particular video addresses the number, or "mathematical value" of the number zero. It helps kids understand that while zero represents nothing, the number still has a mathematical value. It's great, so enjoy!
